Taken at Fred Russ Forest Park
I love the composition and simple green monochromatic texture of the leaves...The seclusive feel gives me an idea of being given the choice to enter into mysterious realms...The water gives just enough reflection not to overpower the larger section of trees/forest. It must have been interesting getting into position for this shot...so kudos for that little adventure, and that brings me to the point of the observer, very interesting...on land or on water? The light source in the foreground gives just enough light to lead the eye into the picture. The only constructive advise I would give is to place the center (light opening) just a little more off center both horizontally and vertically.

Thanks my friend. I'll be done with school for a couple of weeks after next thursday. I'm not sure if I'll know how to act free though.
really nice ~
What a beautiful capture!
the beauty envy..
CooL! but this kinda remind me of some kinda habitat of bunch of piranhas or dozens of crocs lived by. love the greens
In regards to what =Bark said about the overall artistic feel, I would have to agree; the image holds an air of mystery and adventure about it; in ways it is similar to where I am currently living, in IL, and moreso
Thank you. It's easy to forget about time when traveling the paths this was taken on. I'm glad you like it.
looks like places i haunted as a kid in the sandhills of NC. has a nice, summery nostalgic feel to me. i'm no photographer, so i can't discuss the technicalities of the shot, but i think in a general artistic way the color, composition, and light and shadow are very pleasing.
